স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের ২৮ কর্মকর্তাকে রদবদল করা হয়েছে। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের নতুন মহাপরিচালক হিসেবে অধ্যাপক ডা. আবুল বাশার মোহাম্মদ খুরশীদ আলম নিয়োগ পাওয়ার পরই এই ২৮ কর্মকর্তার রদবদল হল।
সোমবার (২৭ জুলাই) এ রদবদলের খবর পাওয়া গেছে।
করোনাকালে স্বাস্থ্য খাতের বিভিন্ন দুর্নীতি রিজেন্ট ও জেকেজির ঘটনায় সরকারের ভাবমূর্তি ক্ষুণ্ণ হওয়ায় শীর্ষপর্যায় থেকে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর সংস্কারের নির্দেশনা দেওয়া হয়েছে।
ইতোমধ্যে একাধিক গোয়েন্দা সংস্থার প্রতিবেদনের ভিত্তিতে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের বেশ কয়েকজন কর্মকর্তার তালিকা তৈরি করা হয়েছে বলে সংশ্লিষ্ট সূত্র জানিয়েছে।
এর আগে বুধবার (২২ জুলাই) সাংবাদিকদের এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেকও একই ধরনের ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি বলেন, কেবল পরিচালক (হাসপাতাল) নয়, যে শাখাগুলো বেশি সমালোচিত হয়েছে সেগুলো ভালোভাবে খতিয়ে দেখে সরকার শক্ত ব্যবস্থা নিবে।
